The rules of the road.

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using FieldPass, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These Terms are effective April 24, 2026.

2. What FieldPass is

FieldPass is a credentialing platform that connects sports creators with event hosts. Creators apply for press passes and sideline access; hosts review applications, approve or deny them, and issue digital credentials; both sides can post reels and recap content tied to those credentials.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old. Parental consent is recommended for users between 13 and 17.
• You must provide accurate information about yourself.
• One person, one account.

4. Your account

• You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• Use a strong password or sign in with Google. Don't share your credentials with anyone.
• If you suspect unauthorized access, email hello@fieldpass.co right away.

5. Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following on FieldPass:

• Misrepresent who you are or what credentials you hold.
• Apply for credentials you don't intend to use.
• Upload content you don't own or have rights to.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or resell our platform.
• Use FieldPass for any illegal activity.

6. User content

• You retain ownership of everything you upload — your videos, photos, captions, and profile content stay yours.
• You grant FieldPass a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of running the service (showing your reels on your profile, displaying your application to a host you applied to, etc.).
• Hosts may require attribution or place reasonable restrictions on content captured under a credential they issued.
• You must have the rights to all content you post. If you don't, take it down.

7. Credentials and access

• A FieldPass-issued credential confers only the access the issuing host explicitly grants — no more.
• Hosts retain final decision-making authority on every credential.
• FieldPass does not guarantee approval, and is not responsible for host decisions.
• Hosts can revoke credentials at any time, for any reason consistent with their own policies.

8. Subscriptions and payments

• FieldPass is currently free for all creators.
• Outlets and admins may have paid features in the future. Any new paid feature will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
• The only paid feature today is the featured event boost ($25–$200), which is non-refundable once activated.

9. Termination

• You can delete your account anytime from Settings.
• We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Some clauses (privacy obligations, IP, dispute resolution, limitation of liability) survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

• The service is provided "as is" and "as available."
• We don't guarantee that any specific credential will be approved.
• We're not responsible for what happens at events you attend, or for the conduct of hosts or other creators.
• We don't endorse any particular host, creator, or event.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, in no event will FieldPass's total liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). FieldPass is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FieldPass harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of (a) content you post, (b) your use of the service, or (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless we mutually agree to arbitration.

14. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we'll notify you at least 14 days in advance by email and an in-app notice. Continued use of FieldPass after changes take effect means you accept them.
